My life has been visited by a few of these people lately. They have felt like gifts from God. I’ve been tongue-tied with desperate gratitude. It’s not often that I’m at a loss for words.

There are times when you have extra or enough and can give. There are times when someone else has extra or enough and can give to you. I’ve learned, deeply, that receiving is just as important as the giving.

In fact, the receiving seems to expand one’s capacity to give…it at least expands one’s capacity for hope, faith, perseverance, and love. ???????????????? ????
