Appreciate How Far You’ve Come
This feels accurate, doesn’t it?
I think the key is not to mistake the intermittent constrictions for missteps, failures, catastrophic backsliding, or proof that you can’t execute the change (or that you’ve erred in determining change must be made).
Don’t lose touch with a healthy appreciation of how far you’ve come. Don’t panic at the constriction points. Stay on course. Trust the decisions, insights, and hard truths that brought you to this path.
PS: There’s a theme to a lot of my posts lately and it’s because my second book, which I’ve begun, is about navigating the very human process of change with spiritual courage. It’s a ways out, but it’s like oxygen to be writing like this again!
