This is why being conscious, available for true intimacy, and willing to love honestly and deeply is such a game-changer. In parenting, friendship, or in love, we have the power to be changed and to change those we love. It takes courage to show up this way — and courage to receive this kind of love. We are changed within our relationships — that’s the rule. The question is: will you allow yourself to be changed by love? Are you willing to love and be loved courageously?
